From craft activities to live music and markets to nature trails, there is something for everyone at this time of year.

Top Things to Do in Wye Valley Easter Weekend

Easter Market at The Hope & Anchor – Between 12pm and 4pm on Saturday, take a wander around the Easter market at the Pavilion. You can check out stalls from local businesses and pick up some tasty treats, and there will be a number of kids’ activities for the little ones to get involved in. Colouring, Easter bonnet making and cookie decorating are all on the agenda; you’ll even have the chance to meet the Easter Bunny himself.

Tintern Local Produce Market – You won’t be short of local and seasonal food, drink and produce at Tintern Local Produce Market. Held on the second Saturday of each month, this market attracts independent growers and makers from across Wye Valley, and Easter weekend is no exception. There’s an abundance of winemakers, cheesemakers, local farmers, fruit and veg growers, and dairy producers. You’re bound to leave with many local delights.

Live Music at The Bandstand – Head to the bandstand from 8:30pm on Saturday and enjoy live music from the talented Breaking Ground. It’s the perfect way to let your hair down and bop along to some of your favourite pop and rock anthems with a band that really knows how to wow a crowd. It might not be Easter themed, but it’s sure to be a fun evening for all.

Arts and crafts

Easter Activities at The Dean Heritage Centre – Throughout Easter, The Dean Heritage Centre is putting on a whole host of fun activities for the entire family to enjoy. There’s an indoor Easter trail, a Gruffalo trail and a brand-new playground. You can also get stuck into lots of Easter and springtime events, including crafts and guided walks. When it’s time to refuel, head to The Heritage Coffee Shop for an Easter treat.

Easter Children’s Activity Days at Nature in Art – If you are looking for ways to keep the kids busy this Easter, head to Nature in Art for one of their many crafty children’s activities. There are 14 unique sessions to choose from, all of which are centered around learning about the many animals found in the UK during the springtime.
